[Mokpo Customs] 52nd Taxpayer's Day Anniversary Event
 

Mokpo Customs (customs director Lee Won-Sang) celebrated with related companies and customs officials in the auditorium on the third floor to commemorate the 52nd Taxpayer's Day.
 
 
At the event, Lee Won-Sang, the head of the Mokpo Customs, said, "We will make effort honest taxpayer be given preferential treatment actively by supporting tariff administration to promote the regional economy, blocking the distribution of non-performing imported foods, and cracking down on smuggling and illegal trade."
 
 
In particular, Kim Jae-ok, the representative director of Dongwon F&B Kangjin Plant, won the award for the first time as a model taxpayer, and Han Hong-Beom of Daehan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. won the Korea Customs Commissioner's Commendation.
 
 
In addition, the five-day tax week from March 5 to 9 will be designated as "Tax Awareness Week," and various events will be held, such as sending letters of appreciation to honest taxpayers and posting commemorative banners.
 
 
Lee Won-sang, the head of the customs office, said, "We will deepen taxpayer’s understanding of the role of customs through weekly activities to understand taxes, express our appreciation for taxpayers, and raise the pride of honest taxpayers."
