[2019.05.16.] Daehan Shipbuilding Co's Oil Carriers Successfully Won 4 Orders
Daehan Shipbuilding Co is strengthening its position as an absolute powerhouse in the medium-sized tanker industry by obtaining orders successively through its business strategy. Daehan Shipbuilding Co announced on May 16 that it signed contracts with world-class shipping companies Minerva and Enesel for a total of 265 billion wons on May 14 and 15.
The two ships that signed the contract on 14 are the 115,000 DWTA Aframax Crude Oil Tankers, which are maintained the global No. 1 market share for three consecutive years. The shipping company is Minerva, Greece's largest Aframax Tanker operator, is scheduled to be delivered in April and May 2021, respectively.

The two ships, which signed the contract on December 15, will be delivered in February and March 2021 respectively for the 157,500 DWT Suezmax Crude Oil Tanker’s options, which were ordered from Enesel in Greece last December.
Daehan Shipbuilding Co, which has gained credibility in the medium-sized tanker market by focusing on Aframax Tanker, signed a contract with Greece's "king of ships" Angelicosis Group Maran in October this year and succeeded in diversifying its ship types.
Since then, Daehan Shipbuilding Co has won a series of orders for Suezmax Tanker from Enesel, signed a contract about an additional option with Maran, and has recently won eight Suezmax Tankers with global shipping companies within six months, simultaneously with entering the Suezmax Tankers market.
