Daehan Shipbuilding Signs MOU with Mokpo Maritime University to Develop Regional Human Resources

 

 

Daehan Shipbuilding will train local human resources in cooperation with Mokpo Maritime University.
 
 Daehan Shipbuilding announced yesterday that they have signed an MOU with Mokpo Maritime University for industrial-academic cooperation in Mokpo Maritime University headquarter. 
 
 Eleven people attended the ceremony, including Chung Dae-Sung, CEO of Daehan Shipbuilding, Shin Jae-Beom, head of Corporate Management& Support unit, Lee Kyung-Seok, head of Engineering &Technology, president of Mokpo Maritime University, Han Won-Hee, and Lim Chae-Hyun.
 
 The agreement is aimed at establishing a cooperation system between Daehan Shipbuilding and Mokpo Maritime University, sharing technology and human resource development technicians, and sharing educational resources.
 
 Based on this agreement, internships and field training, research-related courses, technical consultation, and projects will be jointly promoted through active education and research sharing. With the cooperation of industry and academia, human resources training in shipbuilding and marine fields is expected to become more active.


 Han Won-Hee, president of Mokpo Maritime University, said, "We hope that Mokpo Maritime University students will be able to experience more practical affairs through cooperation with Daehan Shipbuilding. I wish graduates get a job of top local companies and show their ability developed in our university"
  
 Jeong Dae-sung, CEO of Daehan Shipbuilding, said, "The agreement is expected to serve as an opportunity to strengthen corporate competitiveness by recruiting professional shipbuilders. In addition, we will contribute to the community by training local talents "
