Daehan Shipbuilding co Win Orders for Two Suez Max Tankers

 

 

Daehan Shipbuilding co announced on October 4 that it signed a contract with a Turkish shipping company to build two Suez Max tankers on October 31.

 

The two ships, 274 meters long, 48 meters wide, and 24 meters high are 158,000 DWT Suez Max-grade crude oil carriers, which will be delivered in January 2022 with scrubbers to meet IMO's sulfuric acid emissions regulations.

 

Daehan Shipbuilding co, which has gained credibility in the medium-sized tanker market by producing Aframax tankers, start diversifying by sign a contract to build a Suez tanker in October this year. Since then, he has signed contracts one after another and has won 10 orders from one of the world's leading shipping companies in about a year.

 

The Authority of Daehan Shipbuilding co said, "The company has secured a stable supply of 22 ships, including this order, and expects to achieve this year's order target by the end of the year."
